A day in my crazy blessed life, enjoy!
445am the silent alarm on my Charge HR is vibrating
5am still laying in bed as my “real” alarm is blaring for me to get out of bed
510am my husband’s alarm is now going off only he is ignoring it so, I might as well give in and get out of bed
511am Turn on the coffee maker because life without coffee is just plain boring… or maybe I am addicted to coffee either way I turn it on
515am pack my husband and son’s lunches
525am grab my cup of coffee and head off to my office/gym
527am half awake enjoying my coffee
535am start my quiet time, morning devotional and reading
630am my phone alarm goes off warning me that I should wrap up my quiet time and get my workout done so, I do not make my son late for school
645am press play on my workout
720am time to get ready for work
8am drop my son off at school and proceed to auto pilot for my commute to work
845am arrive at work and leave my cell phone in the car
915am check work emails and do any number of tasks that include scheduling, briefing or conducting training operations
11am grab my phone, Bose (better sound through research) headphones and walk 1.5 miles around the helicopter squadrons and the flight lines on base
1140am put my phone back in my car and return to the isolation of a secure building
210pm pack up and head off to deal with school pick up
305pm pick up my son from school
318pm FINALLY get out of the school parking lot because of traffic and construction
325pm get home and begin the rush to get my son off to baseball practice
340pm leave for baseball practice
405-610pm chat with other parents, return texts, periscope, check emails and any number of other tasks and social media to pass the time
640pm dinner and all that jazz
730pm walk, dance and/or run around the house to achieve my daily step goal
745-8pm agree to watching tv or a movie with my husband only to fall asleep half way into whatever program we have agreed upon
Repeat with any number of changes based on this crazy blessed life we are living!
**This idea came from a course I am taking on the science of happiness at the University of California, Berkeley.
